Having a character that is well planned out and suited to your playstyle will make Deus Ex far more enjoyable. In this guide I go over the various weapons, skills, and augmentations players can choose from during character creation and over the course of the game, so they can make informed decisions. Those new to the series may have trouble getting a foothold early on or may find that they do not like the way they designed JC Denton (the player’s character) once they understand how the game works. Deus Ex is an excellent game, but it is also more complex than it appears at first glance.
